The Boston Celtics rolled past the Minnesota Timberwolves Sunday night as they won their sixth straight game, 134-112, behind Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
Boston was in control from the get-go, as after a relatively close 34-30 first quarter, the C’s took command as they went into the half up 72-49. The Celtics then rode their lead all the way through the final buzzer.
Tatum (34) and Brown (31) — who both had a slight chance of not playing — combined for 65 points, while Derrick White had 15 points, Robert Williams had 13 to go along with 10 boards, and Payton Pritchard had 11. Marcus Smart also added seven assists.
Boston will travel to Toronto where they’ll take on the Raptors Monday night, as they seek their seventh straight win at 7:30 p.m. ET.
