Bruins Injuries: David Pastrnak, Trent Frederic Both Leave Early vs. Blue Jackets

Bruins

The Boston Bruins lost both David Pastrnak and Trent Frederic to injuries Monday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

With 15 minutes left in the third Pastrnak got tangled up with Vladislav Gavrikov and landed awkwardly, and Frederic (upper body) left earlier due to a high hit that he absorbed. Pastrnak’s injury was undisclosed. Boston will likely need forward depth to step up big, as Josh Brown and Jack Studnicka will likely see some decent playing time.

More to come from Bruce Cassidy postgame, as he’ll likely give intel on the severity of both injuries.
