The Boston Red Sox are seeking their first win of the season after falling 6-5 in extra innings yesterday to the New York Yankees, as Xander Bogaerts will be available to them after a hamstring scare yesterday and Nick Pivetta will take the mound for the Sox.
It will be the same lineup as yesterday for the Sox as Trevor Story — who went 0-for-5 yesterday — will bat sixth in search of his first hit as a member of the Sox. Matt Barnes also wasn’t used yesterday due to a back injury, but he’s hopeful he’s available today to pitch, he said.
Here is your lineup and pitching probables for today’s matchup.
