The New England Patriots traded back to pick No. 29, as they traded their 21st overall pick to the Chiefs in exhange for the 29th selection, as well as a second and third-rounder in the 2022 NFL Draft. They selected Cole Strange, a guard out of Chattanooga that was projected to fall in the third round in most mock drafts.
New England is trying to build their offensive line depth and likely believe he’s a Day 1 starter after losing Shaq Mason and Ted Karras over the offseason.
